as for the chin.. if you still have the stock one, cut the ends off and super glue them on the mach 1, then cut strips of plastic off the old one and light it on fire. as they drip let it fill in the cracks fromt he added piece. sand/repaint and you will have no gap...
i know because thats how i did mine.. cant even tell it was ever short.. (here are some pics to show you, not to steal the thread)

(and yes my plate is getting moved, its been cold so it doesnt effect it)
