was that a red shelby? going by an 1/8th to 1/4 conversion, the guy did a 13.9x 1/4... was he babying it? like really babying it? just accelerating out the hole (not launching) he should be close to mid 13's. maybe i'm too hopeful on the gt500. or was it a gt with shelby stripes?
It's a GT500. That wasn't one of his best runs. I know he ran an 8.7 that night as well. Not sure what his best time is, but it looked like he bogged a little off the line. I'm sure spdpilot will chime in.

i'm just trying to make sure. i've seen some gt500 owners at the track here in famoso just baby their cars down the track cause they didn't want to abuse their cars too much. is he running stock tires? bogging and traction issues can kill any run. throw some meaty tires on that gt500 and he'll wonder why he didn't start out with those in the first place. :rock:

8.7 is what i ran on seven cylinders. come on spdpilot, you can do better...
I'm sure he has run better than that. He does have a set of Drag Radials on the car.
