the engine will blow if i put a blower on it, it has high miles.


i would consider getting it cammed thought with some mild street cams. course, i run into the pesky smog problem, it already has a tune and all the other bolt on's already done

maybe a motor swap? You can find used 2v's pretty easily....

i might also add i make minimum wage :flute:

lol, hence why im more appearance friendly then power friendly. the engine has only 135k on it, so it isnt huge, but a bit high for boost

i have tried to look them up and no luck, i guess the way to find out is to call the company or just have a custom one made that might pass emmisions

well so you know the center exit saleen rear is over 1k. mix and match parts just dont badge it improperly. look at my pile. 03-04 cobra front and decklid, s281 hood, s281 rear, bullit rims. i used to have a 99 cobra bumper they look pretty good.

That's not to many miles for a blower. Just get a conservative 8-10 psi and have some fun. My engine lower end is 23 years old and has 138K on it and the supercharger is a blast. You need to hook up a vacuum gauge and see what your blowby looks like. Good vacuum + tight engine!!!!

Ooops, mine is a pushrod motor. I forgot that you have a 4.6....you're right, it probably wont handle a blower. :rofl:

you should have seen mine on the dyno!!! there was an insane amount of blow by in the beginning,,,, you could tell the engine wasnt all sealed up yet!! its goin away, for the most part but ill still get a good bit until the engine seals up real good!! when the rings seat and all that garb!!

i think im just going to try to get a black 99 spoiler, and a silver 99 cobra bumper to finish it up

i miss having a spoiler, and i don't like how my silver spoiler looks on it
