Mine was a daily driver until I realized how much the value drops so now it is just a play toy that comes out when i wanna bring it out but usually atleast once a week.

I drive my GT every day, it was my only car until I got the Civic. But as you all know the civic broke down (got a distributer on the way) and now sits in the garage since it wont start. I think I am getting sick just writing that... As soon as my part arrives the POS Honda will be out in the rain where it belongs!!! When I finally get the Shelby it will stay in the garage when I am not driving it. But, I plan to drive it all the time when the weather is good. Which is about 300 days a year here in the central valley. I am just not going to put commute miles on it driving to and from work.

Why ya treat me like that?
Well, I do drive her as hard as I can as long as I don't get caught. (That's why I still haven't put HER plates on!HA!)

I can't drive HER every day. No, I don't put HER away wet because I'm too obsessive. My work absolutely prohibits driving her as a daily car. (Yes I know what you meant by that putting her away wet thing.)

But , I will tell you, I have to fire myself from my job sometimes. I use HER when I go for a consult with a prospective client and then I just can't let HER go. So. I make up excuses to drive to far away nurseries to look for product.

Even still she has dings here and there and I HATE! that. I just can't bear it.
And THEN.....When the car cover gets wet / moldy from the daily fog here I have to clean and dry the cover, do my best to dry HER off before the fng fog comes in, blah balah blah balah.

I just love HER sooooooooooo much. AND she loves me back. :)

I drive well over 3,000 miles per month. None of my Stangs will ever be racking up that kind of mileage. Thats what the Civic and F150 are for. Civic is my mileage whore :) and F150, well, thats the one that tows the trailer queens. I pamper the collectibles and Stangs, while pushing them and driving them hard when they do get out of the corral. They seem to ask for more!

I have 2 Mustangs, so one is a garage queen while the other gets daily use.

I have two, too. One is in the garage, the other isn't. Which is which depends on myriad influences I haven't figured out yet.

Every morning I go sit on the verahndah to drink my green tea, and I can see the one in the driveway from there. Every morning I am delighted with the way the one in the driveway looks. Every morning I wish I could see the other one as well. Sometimes I think I should put them both in the driveway.

I have a number of Mustang scale models. If I thought Mustangs were about looks, I could sell the 1:1-scale Mustangs and gaze at the models.

My Mustangs are used cars: cruised, road-rallied, drag-raced, autocrossed, and one day soon, track-dayed on the Las Vegas Motor Speedway road course.

I do like the feeling of being in a clean, detailed, uniquely modded Mustang, but I LOVE driving a quick, capable, controllable, nimble, good-sounding Mustang even more.

Only reason my Mustangs aren't true Daily Drivers is because I quit my job and don't commute; I do find a good reason to drive one or the other every day, even if it is just to drive one or the other every day.

In fact, I think I'll go drive one right now!

Cheers!

I bought my Saleen to use as a daily driver. I missed having fun on a daily basis. The 04 Cobra is the weekend warrior..she gets driven hard and whines alot but just not on a daily basis. :D -Shane

I have two, one DD and one that's a garage queen. I haven't drove the garage queen since the the wicked stang cruise. But then again it needs a new radiator and a tune. The DD drive going into the shop this week to get fixed for minor work, since I hit a Simi's Tire tread at about 65 mph.

I drove my Bullitt daily for the first 4 months I had it,I then decided to keeps the miles down .That along with lower gas prices has my F150 doing daily duty.It just sucks though,,it's impossible to hit the onramp at 100mph in a lifted F150.
