My deployments are a little different. We fly out to Bahrain and do a crew swap. These minesweepers are way too small to transit back and forth. My first(USS RAVEN(Heavy Lift) was a year long in Bahrain, 2nd was 5 months on USS RAVEN(DECOM) in Bahrain, this one also Bahrain is 8 months long with a month to go!-Shane

I am gonna do two things an award that is for currently deployed that comes off when you get bcl and a set of awards that go off of how many deployments you have been on

Ok cool.

I did a bunch of 3-4 month Caribbean drug ops cruises but they never counted for deployments. Kind of got the shaft on that. LOL

i have done 2 over seas deployments to the middle east and 1 panama ex. for a 30 day period and will be deploying this summer for a 3rd time.

I did the 97-98, 98-99 cruise on the USS Constipation "Constellation", 05 deployment to Iwakuni Japan, and this last one was Al Asad I raq in 08. I currently have 1 year, 6 months, 18 days on a ship and that is not too bad for a jar head lol.
