Detailing

What's up people?

I detail on the side, so if you need anything for your ride to make it shine like it should, shoot me a PM and we can work the details out. Nothing like an awesome 'Stang (or other nice car) that doesn't look as good as it should because its dirty.

BTW, Mustangs by the Bay is coming up. Can't go to a car show and win without a highly polished ride!

Prices are not hourly, they are vehicle condition based. Basically, we would have to meet up and check out the car and discuss what you want. Ballpark cost is typically 100+.

For me, it depends on the products and tools you use and whether you know how to use them on custom finishes.

i dont know man the 76 by my house does AMAZING detailing. i take my car and my bike for them. they do my r1 for 50 bucks and spend about an hour polishing ****. my car, talking 80 -90 bucks for full hand wash, polish and wax, detail motor, shampoo seats, carpets, i mean its nicer than new. on my car they spend sometimes 2 hours with 2 guys. granted i go there bi weekly and i know the guy who is in charge of the details on a first name basis. i think the package i get is usually like 120-150 and i can usually get it for like 70 bucks as long as i tip his guy a dub.

or i drop off my car or bike and walk over to la fitness and get my beefcake on while they do it. good luck man, being a normal guy with bills trying to get off the ground detailing is hard. theres too many shops that have very good, cheap labor. no one could break my loyalty to my shop but if you get your name out it will pick up in time im sure.

Hey guys thanks for all the comments. Detailing is very competitive and I'm just trying to help out fellow car enthusiasts. It is NOT a money making business unless the people doing the work get paid almost nothing, however I do all my own labor.

It sounds like there are some great deals out there, but when you are using expensive products to get the best results you have to charge enough to cover the materials, knowledge, experience, etc. I would like to add that I also provide the opportunity to let the customer to join in and learn how to do the work themselves, sort of like a mini-detailing lesson. To my knowledge, I'm not too sure of many places that tell the customer how to do the things they specialize at. I pride myself in my work and stand behind what I do. There is a reason why people pay more for certain things, like getting a mod motor built Sean Hyland versus a Chevy mechanic.

Like stated before, if anyone is interested then please contact me. Otherwise, try not to compare apples to oranges when you have never seen the work I do. Thanks!

so will you come to my house, can i drink monster and eat a snickers and watch?lol. different strokes for different folks man. i would go to car shows with business cards if i where you, cars and coffee would be good. you have to find clientel that are ok with spending over 100 bucks frequently. thats a good place to start.

btw, not comparing anything. the prices i get at my place are pretty much friend prices. my bike work would be north of 80 for someone else and my car prolly more like 180-200 for the full detail(body, interior shampoo, engine, etc. ) 100 bucks is a good deal.
