how about ride of the month instead, this is a mustang club and we are on here because of the cars...so it only makes sence...

thats a good idea. Post pics of cars and vote on them. How would they be judged? Cleanliness or accomplishments, or overall mods. Or just by choice overall? Thats a great idea though. Just need more specific details

well we could do one car from each regional club ie san diego, central valley, SC chapter, ect....

that would be a lot. I think just put pics online and vote. Just one a month. We can mix all the clubs together.
How bout a Stang spotlight and a member spotlight.... Just randomly choose one member and one stang each month and do a little one paragraph write up on each. Then display them on the home page for the month they are chosen.

Stang Spotlight is a great name for it. And I love the idea of posting their car on the home page! But do it randomly? You could do that, or have some nominated and either voted on, or choose from those that register and do a write-up of their car.
This sounds like a great idea.
I say randomly because then it wont come down to who has more money or mods on their car and for the member, you know some people have more time to devote to the club so naturally they would be able to do more for the club.. If we just put all the active members name in a hat and choose randomly each month no one gets upset that they didnt win the vote and everybody wins!!!
OK I ran the MOTM program and it was failing badly. When I did get inputs, most were just a name and I had to write the entry for others that nominated. That doesnt work for me. I can dress the entry up or whatever but I shouldnbt be writing someones entry. Anyway, it has already been discussed loosely about a Ride Of The Month instead......like Eric said it is all about the cars, not the owners egos.....LOL J/K But the cars are the focus here not us. Whenever I get some time from my other projects and such, I will come up with something. The ROTM will have to be selected somehow and I dont want this one being a popularity contest as the MOTM was......Therefore Someone, Emilio, me, CWO, Danny, ATL, or some designated person will randomly pick a car and we will go from there for that month. The San Diego Chapter has been quite busy lately so Emilio and I have not had a chance to sit and really talk about this yet. We will. Look for something at the end of summer for sure.

This is something I could set up. If it gets approved, People could just pm or email me a pic and a right up of their car, (mods, color,model, how long you've had it etc.) I would just have to have access to the home page or just tell Emilio the winner each month. If we start it up we can officially have a Stang Spotlight set up for August 1st. That'll give me a month to get it set up and draw from those entered on the 1st of each month. And the same member couldnt win but once a year. Watcha think?
Once a year sounds good that way we could rifle through everyone. I will help with this too. Just let me know what you need.

Well once I get it approved, I'll start a post in the motm section and my email and all. If this goes through. I'd have to be added as a mod in that section. Only time will tell and if everyone else agrees with this.
Couldnt we just do a poll and have people choose from there with the thread locked? They could go to the members garage to see the vehicles and then when one member wins they could do their own write up and put a picture of their car on the thread and then Emilio could use that pic for the home page. Just seems to make it more simple.
