One of our Navy cooks goes.."hey you know about cars". His brakes were making a weird noise..see where I'm going with this? So I asked him when the last time it was that the brake pads were changed. He said his parents had them changed about 2 years ago. Asked him what the noise sounded like...he goes....grinding. I was like yeah..time for new brake pads and possibly new rotors as a result of the waiting. Why do people not pay attention to their cars? I mean ..your car talks to you..LISTEN. Personally mine..calls me baby all the time...but thats another story. So he got the rotors and brake pads and after about an hour all was done. I have seen my share of brakes...and I have NEVER seen anyone run a set of brake pads this far.
So I saved him a couple hundred bucks, taught him how to change brake pads and rotors and what to listen for when it's time to change them showing him the little metal tab. Anyone else had this experience?-Shane
