I am thinking about getting a pair of drag slicks, (Once my car is all fixed [Orange:mad:]) and I wanted to know what size will fit on a pair of 17x9s, and whether to go with Mickey Thomson or Hoosier.

slicks....you really need that much. you dont think DR's are good enough. MT et-streets are awesome rubber. think about it

You really cant go wrong with ether Mickey's or Hoosier's... but like beejay said... why slicks? what do you have done to your car and what does your rearend have done... your probably safer off running Radials...

I ran 7.9's on bfg drag radials with nitrous. Im gonna try slicks next. My rear ends built with superior axles. 28 spline though. Bfg drag radials is the best for the money. Get you some MT et streets. Almost as good as slicks. But you can drive them on the streeet if you want to.

I absolutely love my MT ET Streets. They hook well enough for me to get 1.7's and I suck at driving.

Well, I am fairly certain that I have a 31 spline superior axles in the back, and 02GT, which are those??

I wouldn't go that far. If it's the one thing that I have noticed through my observation is that you have a better feel for your car than anyone else out there. I notice that you know where your car makes power and you shift accordingly. 90% of cobra drivers and beginners try and let the car hit close to redline and then shift.

You can see in some of your runs that you short shift and as a result the car hauls ass! You're a damn good driver in my book. :top:
