then at the drag races this is what happened i didnt notice on the way home because i didnt get up in the RPM's and only live 5mi from the track but then on wednesday morning on the way to the ship to get underway i noticed the vibration aand didnt take it above 60 as well on my way home on friday i guess i twisted the shaft and snapped the weight off as you can see Dustin's weld is still there it was nothing to do with CPR i will take my car to them and recommend them to any one its the driveshaft shop (who has been very helpful in trying to fix the problems that have been arising)

i have always woundered about the aluminum drive shafts for drag racing, it seems to me it's not a great idea to drag with it because aluminum is obviously weaker then a steel one... correct me if im wong but thats how it makes sence to me.

yes its weaker just just for weight saving purposes they are just bigger in diameter to make them stronger

LCR is amazing its ran and owned by emerson who is a personal friend of mine and he will go out of his way to help you and give you prices for lcr and others well aluminum is always lightest besides carbon fiber but since u have a pwr adder i would wouldnt recommend aluminum

so what are the options for drive shafts,,,, you got aluminum, carbon fiber, and what like stainless steel or sumthin right? i cant imagine the carbon fiber bein too strong, but for sure the lightest!!! but i need sumthin real strong i imagine!!! so you think the steel? er is that even an option, what are some other good options? and what about the axles i probably should change those out too right?

Maybe your pinion angle or something is not right. I dont think you have enough torque to twis a drive shaft like that!!!!!
