Dumbest thing I've ever done and I F'ed up my car!

First of all Bobby, you now what I've said....as long as I'm able to, I don't mind being able to help. And as CWO said, you've helped in many ways, as well as your knowledge saving me money and potential headaches on my own build. Dude you know I'm there to help (or tow).

On the repair.....should be an easy fix. Any reputable shop can color match and the body line above will help conceal any color discrepancies.

In the end, you're unharmed plus the little Amato's and the Mrs. still have the big guy around !!!

Go have fun on your vacation and just put this in the Lesson Learned section of your brain. Don't stress over it and just go have fun. Worry about it when you come back.

Slow down, you done plenty in a short time already.

figured something like that would happen one day since you refuse to use the garage where the ground is flat, so instead of asking for permission/cleaning/organize the garage for your use, you rather use the 90 degree downhill driveway to work on the car. you lucky it didn't crush your ass but it was bond to happen some day and I'm glad it was just a WARNING.

I'm very very glad you ok dude

I hear you, but this is what I have to work with. This house isn't mine and I cannot put a car in the garage there is just too much BS in there. The incline didn't help, but ultimately it was my own stupidity that did this. I got tunnel vision and lost focus of the situation.

The good news is that A Welder that I work with used to own his own body shop. He said he would come over and fix it and it will be a piece of cake. Then I will just have to get it painted.

First, glad you are ok. It is tough to have these things happen.

There are a few holes in my garage walls from my stupid mistakes from when I through a wrench from accross the room because I am so mad.

I can only imagine what raced through your head when you saw the car starting to roll.

I got hurt once by a pallet jack rolling out of the back of semi truck that for some stupid reason I thought I could catch. The truck was making a delivery. Reflexes??? I don't know I try to stop things. Trying to train myself to just let things happen. Machine damage is much cheaper then hurting yourself.

That jack stopping the car was not dumb luck. You got someone watching out for you.
