Dyno Day @ Fresno Performance

well if they cant get there **** together for a dyno day.... I don't think i will be letting them tune my car... I cant believe you guys payed for dyno numbers and some people didnt get A/F or Torque curve.... to me... that would have been a waste of 50 bucks and i would have been pissed....

there was what 8 cars there... and they couldn't figure out the problem... Scott was telling me they did the dyno pulls with no load on the Dyno just a free spinning dyno drum.... You guys might as well through your sheet in the trash. no accuracy what so ever!!

not ragging on you guys... but that shop sounds like a joke!

Yea i dont know what the deal was with the no torque numbers for the 4V guys. All other cars had the torque curves and numbers. The drum was NOT free spinning. The Dyno DID carry a load. It wasnt exactly the same load the street makes but damn close. Honestly, if you take the same car and go to three different dyno shops that run the same type of dyno, more than likely you will have three different numbers. I know Scott made almost 50 more HP on this Dyno compared to the mustang dyno he ran on not too long ago. The numbers he laid down last weekend are more on point to what they should have been. All in all, the guys who didnt get A/F and a torque curve should have been cut a break on the price. Without those two key items, tuning a car correctly isnt in the cards. I agree 100% that a tuning dyno run should not happen at this place if they cant figure out the problem with 4V cars and the dyno. Just my .02

well honestly i noticed that on Scotts sheet it was reading a 14.5:1 air fuel... what is from his Economy tune.. If scott was right and the guy was free spinning the dyno because the ROLLERS have weight.. on another dyno he would put down alot less...

Like you said 3 different dyno shops three different dyno numbers...

I know scott lost to a 4cyl 2.0L Acura last weekend.... and he isn't even putting down 200 to the wheels. I dont see that cobra putting down 311... sorry

the roger vogts dyno seems good... my manual trans mach 1 stock put down 270hp 300trq.... so i can see his putting down 253hp 253trq on there dyno... that seems more accurate since his car does have 1++,+++ miles on it

I was also spinning out of the whole and was shifting early like 3,500 in first
and i still passted him before the end of the street,so i really never lost.Had we raced 2 months ago, I would have walk him the whole way.don't you remember that guy keep telling me to really run him. well i never did. ti was to cold to for me to plant the power. next summer when i get back off deployment, before i get into the motor i'll re-run him and give him a car lead just like i gave shane and we'll see what happens then.

OK so let me get this straight... you claim that as a win when he hit his brakes to stop then you passed... come on man its ok to loss to a 4cyl putting down 190hp when you only put down 253.....

why would you sand bag to loss. come on now Scott... I know you weren't shifting at 3500 that is BS!!! I could hear you trying to run him down!

I know he will race you again... oh and he spun all the way through first and half way through second so you spinning in first is no excuss...

I want to see this renegade guy with the manual trans mach 1 race you! that should be a win for the mach....

this is what your cobra second gear should sound like... not sound like it boggs!

dude, look what i'm sayin' is that i wasn't getting traction. it doesn't matter how much rwhp i or he does or doesn't have. what i am saying is that i will win if i can plan't the power. i bet you that one night in i just rolled off it and spun a little, and you and him run neck and neck. if i really tried to fun him i would have won but, i didn't.

already happened... renegade should be getting better at driving... but i think scott still has that advantage.

now, if you were to drive renegade's mach... things might get interesting. :bo:

on the contrary, i'm saying that the shane that one night at the air strip would be left in the dust by the shane that drives that mach today. never said you were a bad driver at all. takes time to get used to a new car and i think by now, you've gotten pretty comfortable in the mach. more so than when we were at the air strip. but i think scott may still have the edge. dunno, have to see...

now andy in your mach... that's something i want to see. :)
