Dyno Day in Tacoma (Jan)!

Spoke to the guys at Turbo Tech this morning - all is good for 14 Jan! One note they wanted to pass - this is pretty much for dyno runs only, unless whatever changes you want to do, you can do QUICKLY! They said $45 to use the sniffer for A/F readings.

I'm at 17 now, and will go up to 20 for the main list, however, they said that they have no problems CONTINUING to run when the list runs out if the line is going quickly and people are willing to hang out.

ADDITIONALLY - they also mentioned that they do have a gas grill there, and if we wanted to have a burger-burn or whatever they don't have any issues with that. The more the merrier! Not sure how we could pull that off, but if someone's interested we could all put up a few bucks a piece and pool our money together and have a runner go to the store and pick up the stuff....just another idear...

Keeping the main list at 20, but Turbo Tech said if people are still around after that and are still game to run they have no problems keeping the doors open. So, if you would like to run, let me know and I'll continue to fill the stand-by list.
 
hey i got one more car for us my brother wants to run his 95 gti vr6 should be interesting his name is gabe dont know if we got room for another but if not he can run in my place since he will be driving from monroe
 
Hehe, he's not the ONLY one coming from Monroe! Got two or three coming from there, two from Silverdale, and a couple from the Portland area also. ;) Bring him along; the more the merrier!

Holy moly, a local shop owner in Monroe just laid down the gauntlet: "We have a challenge. We just set the Emissions legal N/A HP record on a local dyno. Who thinks they can take it from us at TTi? Thats right! Muffled with Cats we layed it down by a BIT more then a Z06 427, on pump gas!"

funny thing is that vr6 gti is putting up more than 155 i had a lighter car with 180 at the wheel 4 banger and got smoked when my brother and i were racing either that lost ALOT of power or there was some slipping of the tires because he ran 3 times and got 3 numbers all different and cant tell me those where from the previous dyno when the numbers changed but all in all i had fun..
