I'm purchasing a MAC prochamber exhaust and I plan on removing the smog pump, EGR and all associated emission devices. Does anyone have the information required to make this mod or know of a good source that provides the required information?

Thanks for the link, but I'm looking for more of a how to and what needs to be installed. I'm not worried about belt length, I have a smog pump delete pulley.

either buy the smog delete setup to make it and idler, or do as i did and route around it, here is a belt routing chart for most all setups on a 5.0, and all the smog crap prolly weighs 35lbs or more.
the plugs that go into the back of the heads are called thermactor plugs. i bought mine from trickflow but i think they sell them at napa too. shouldnt be more than about 5 bucks a piece.
what about the air tube on the h-pipe? what do i do about that?
bend it over/crimp it off, weld a cap on it ect, whatever really

Florida is home and I'll return there in 2010 to retire from the Navy.

Here is the plan. Install prochamber Monday, install smog delete Tuesday and cap off pipes and cap of vacuum line. From there I'll have to figure out EGR removal and the rest of the SMOG CRAP. Next month I'll order the Cat Back from MAC and that's it for this year. Somebody send me more MONEY!!!!!!:D

If I were you I wouldn't run the smog pulley at all. It's usless. Get a shorter belt, it's alot cleaner. I forgot the company that sells it, but you will need a dummy cannon plug that provides X amount of resistance to plug into the EGR wiring otherwise it will throw a code and the check engine light will come on. The other alternative is to disconnect it and leave it plugged in. Again, not very clean looking. I have a delet plate that I made for mine that you can have if you are interested or Accufab sells the EGR delete spacers. For the Exhaust you can get a short piece of high temp hose and put a plug in it and hose clamp it. The head plugs were already mentioned.

I think ebay sells the electronics for the egr delete. I'll check.
