Engine Tuning?

any good engine tuning modulators, or do those Diablo chips really work etc?

i thought stock EFI would have been enough, but someoen was telling me that you can take the computer and tell it to not do all the SMOG stuff, gain some HP, and then when its time for SMOG so you dotn have to unplug anything or rebolt anything back on

i rambling, i'm bored in class....heh :banana:

i dont know....not even sure what chips are out there for our cars. most of them are for the 4.6's

SCT is your best bet, your local tuner should have the right chip. My recommendation is to go to http://www.racersedgetuning.com/

The sct chips are like $325 plus another $300 for tuning. Gains all depend on what you have done to the car. If it's relatively stock you probably won't see a huge gain. Most people wait until they do a bunch of mods and then get the chip.

ive got almost all bolt ons...valve train and cam. thats about it. think i'll se anything. in only putting down around 250 as is.

i got a stroker kit (in the garage) and figured once its in, a mod chip may be a good idea, but 325 plus tuning? bag that

Yup... Mustang Muscle Online. The guy is a friend of Phill's from way back. He's probably 15 minutes from my place. Plus, I know a guy through TrackLab Dyno who is a member here that has a mobile dyno for the same price, I do believe. He is 5 minutes from where I work. Life is good.

no, i was saying 325 PLUS tuning, as in, 325 for the chip, as well as tuning costs on top...
