Hey, I went to a place in Santee to get a quote for fixing my exhaust, they quoted me at $300 for 2, 2.5" mandrel-bent pipes and to weld it all together and replace my hangers too. Is that a good price, that includes labor.

I had my exhaust with 2 2"5 pipes completely reworked, welded, and fit for $150 at american muffler in clairemont. Good guys, and quick turnaround. Id say 300 is too much. Tell them you got a quote for 200 somewhere and see if they will lower the price... if not, go to the shop I recommended.

They welded in my Basani muffflers and tips and had to fabricate elbows. Bender on site. Top notch work and reasonable. Tell them I sent you.

i got custom pipes from mufflers to tips. All new pipe custom bent and welded, only charged me $120. But thats in sc.

yeah 300 is pretty pricey, 120 to 150 is the norm.

Yep too pricey. Remember what I said. No more than $200. If they quoted you $300, dont even go back there, F**K them.
Yeah, I remembered that, but I didn't want to be an ass and tell them they suck or they are pricey or anything, so I just told them, we'll see.

hells yea man, that lets them know, when you tell them that you are fully aware that theyre tryin to ripp you. they become all too aware that theyre doin bad buisness and theyre losin money because of it,,,,,, theres a saying " no company can aford to do bad buisness and no cutomer can afford to be the product of bad buisness" it kinda keeps the system in check. i would go back there and let them know, see what they ssay about the price, and if they refuse to work w you tell them they can take theur exhaust and shuv it up their ass!!!!
