so i was leaving work comming home out the east gate. merging on kearney villa a brand new aston martin DBS pulled up behind me from miramar way and flew up on my ass. i went slow around the corner got to about 60mph and dropped into 4th and floored it. we got onto kearney villa at about 75mph and he pulled in the lane next to me but a car back. at 90 he was about a half car off my back bumper and closing slowly. the shift light was on forever before i shifted to 5th at 110mph. i looked back and i was pulling away, very slowly but i was pulling. not sure how fast i was going at the end, but he slammed on the brakes and dissapeared from my rear view. hoping we could line up and do it again i slowed to 50mph and waited for him to catch up. when he was right next to me i reved my engine but the guy wouldnt even look at me. must feel pretty ****ty to drive a $100K+ car and get beat by a $3k stonewheeled box mustang...lol. i got picture on my cell phone but it wasnt very good. i'll post it a little later

as is aid in the chatbox. i think i cought him in a bad gear, and pulled away, he coulnt catch me by 110 and was embarrassed and shut it down. had to be it. no other reason he would hang with me til 110 and then cut out, then pull next to me and not even look over.

I would not race you in that either.......If we get caught street racing you lose a Mustang and I lose a DBS.....not very equal there. Also, it has nothing to prove.....

If he was actually trying, then you beat the driver not the car.......

lol. agreed, a lot of supercars are owned by older guys who dont really push them. now my father inlaws viper group, those cats proved me wrong. most of them have went to several driving schools and are nuts. he was telling me last year at the coronado speed fest they had the vipers do a parade lap, like 30mph on that same track and it ended up being like 80-90 by the stands like 150 down the backstretch.lol. sometimes you get one of those guys with some life in them. like that guy in the 740 alpine bmw that raced us on our bikes he had to take that thing up to 160mph when we pulled he just smiled and gave us a thumbs up. its like seeing old dudes in z06s and carreras that drive them like a freeking taurus.
