that was top end... of course i know he has me there... he has a five speed. while i'm wrapping up 4th, he has 5th he can shift into. also, i was on seven cylinders that time.

wanna see from a dig and all motor. should be closer this time around.

cause at the moment, we mostly have the same mods motor wise. if he were to run without the bottle, it'd be a driver's race (if he hasn't done the gears).

I think your right as Dustin's car seems much faster even without the bottle. I do not understand this though as both cars have similar mods

auto vrs. manual... enough said... oh and drag radials... alot of you dont think it makes a difference... but im going to say dustin is going to beat him by 3 cars plus...

a automatic car can only launch from a lower RPM (unless it has a aftermarket stall)... manual will launch at what ever you want.. look at the quarter mile times for a stock auto and a stock 5 speed... its almost 1/2 a second

No, they have a limited amount that were auto.

the autos in stock form ran a 13.9... the stock 5 speed mach runs a 13.5... like i said... almost a 1/2 a second.. now once they have drag radials... they can easily run very low 13's in a 5 speed... I have seen videos and post about stock mach 1's running wit drag radials running 1.8, 1.7 60's with just drag radials... you wont get that in a auto!
