so my stock fan is pretty old and cracked and i figured i should replace it before i have to replace my radiator as well. should i just get the same fan again? go electric or should i just use one of those aluminum flex fans?

Going with a flex fan is fine, but going electric frees up horsepower and sets you up for further mods. The best course of action is an aluminum radiator, dual electric fans and an upgraded alternator. Money spent well now will save you more cash in the long run.

20 bucks is a steal for sure. but a brand new one is $30, its hard to justify buying a used one thats 20 years old (same as the one i have now) just to save $10

130amp alt=$160 or (94-95 mustang junkyard $50), Electric fan=$200 (Mark VIII fan junkyard $30 (4000cfm)better than any after market single fan money can buy.) Fan controller $95. Looks like it will cost about $200 for an electric fan setup and another $200 for an aluminum radiator.
