Hi all, its the ford newbie again LOL.. anyways; I was wondering about a five lug conversion for my car, what are the benefits besides a wider variety of rims? Also, does anyone know how much it would cost to do or should I say, how much would someone charge me if they were to do it... i.e. I bring the car to you with money...... walah 5 lug conversion. Something to that effect. I would be more than willing to help, hopefully not get in the way to much LOL. Any responses would be appreciated!!

What wheels are you looking at running on your car? I have 5 lugs on my 89 with 17x8 in the front and 18x10's in the back. If you'd like to see it sometime let me now and I'll drive it to work sometime.

If I where you I would do the whole thing at once... do the 5 luggs 31 spline or better as well as gears, up grade to slotted roters ect. I am sure some of the guys would help you out and make a working party as well as a tech article for the magazine. Talk to wickedstangs ( EMilio) about getting parts list together pricing ect and holding a working party to help you out

Sounds good when the time comes, I will talk to the prez to see what we can get together. JJ89gt, that would be cool if you could drive it to work this week, we are coming in for pick up briefs starting Tuesday.

I'll try to drive it Tuesday and park it in the theater parking lot. BN commander inspection is that day. So I'm not sure if I'll be leaving to go home or not.

I have the Cobra brakes in the front with 99 newer spindles. In the back I have Ranger Axles and northrace brackets. That's how I got the 18x10 wheels on it. I have a rear lincoln set up. But you'll have to roll the lip and your limited to the size of tire that you can run. It's a wide set up.
