This muffler is essentially a large resonator. It is designed to attach directly to the exhaust header primary tubes, replacing the collector. It can be used on existing headers or used as the collector.<br />

Not running gasoline and looking for a muffler that will correctly process that spent alcohol? This muffler has strategically placed “burn holes” inside the muffler in all low pressure areas to prevent excess methanol fuel from puddling up and backfiring on deceleration. <br />

A lot of drag racing applications require the use of a muffler to comply with their ‘street legal’ rule types. Though, not all classes require a decibel level in a specific range, and this muffler is designed just for that. The Outlaw Series Race Mufflers are our smallest and lightest race mufflers Flowmaster makes. They also claim that when attached directly to the collector, it produces more power than open headers, while taking the “edge” off that open header sound. <br />
