...i was behind the wheels of this:
yeah, my neighbor wanted me to drive his car again. this time in something i felt a lil' more comfortable in. his shelby gt-h. sorry, couldn't take the saleen out this time (he said next time though... :lol: ). but this car was awesome none-the-less.
i had a chance to cruise in it in town and impression was a quiet and nice, in-town cruiser. no drone of the exhaust, just a nice hum inside the cabin. but then, he asked me to take it on the highway... wohoo boy... and he told me not to be afraid to give it gas. man, did his shelby have a nice bark. it pulls nicely and will get you past most people who are in your way. i easily found myself cruising at 80 without much effort.
comparing it to my mach acceleration wise, sad to say, i would eat the shelby alive. now i know my mach has some things done to it (cai, mufflers, tune...)... but even in my mach's stock form, i'd give the shelby a major run, after i hit second.
but, that's my sunday... how was everyone else's? Mexican
