ohhh yeah

I often get asked when I am going to grow up and out of the car scene. HA HA HA not as long as I can shift a gear and even if I cant I will set up a shift kit and still go to town. LOL.. Can you imagine how an 80 year old drives lol all the way against the stearing wheel. That will be me in 50 years. Man oh man I am closing in on my 30's fast. Well Jim I may be a little bit younger than you but seems like you and I are the older ones on here, 21 and 22 year olds. HA HA I use to want to be the older guys at the track growing up now I am not so sure anymore!!!!! One thing I can say about being older and I am sure Jim agrees is the stability. My house and cars are all paid off so it does make it easier to work on the car when I want to versus having to always scrounge up change and save up paychecks like I did when I was 18 or 19.

Amen to that!!

The bills are paid, the house is damn near paid off, one kid left on our payroll, the car hauls ass, the home theater will stop your heart and the recording studio was paid for in cash... best of all, we just got a cleaning lady!! Life is good... LOL.

I just built my home recording studio. Man what a mess that was but it turned out great. It can put some good music out. I wish I had a cleaning lady, that would be nice. I do agree though man it is so much easier now than before taking out loans, working two jobs, wow what was I thinking?

Thinking?? We weren't thinking... LOL. We were dumb as a post back then. We thought we knew everything, though. What kind of gear are you running in your studio? I am running a full-blown Pro Tools HD rig with Crate PA stuff and A big ass Behringer board.

I have a Roland V24CD digital board and a 19 inch flat screen.. I also have pro tools but I prefer the Roland. I am also hooked up to a Boss DR-880 drum machine. I sound boarded a walk in closet and put in a window. I have 8 booms for different mic set ups. I use a marshall half stack and head. I also use a boss pedal board with a dunlop crybaby wah, boss metal zone pedal, a zach wylde overdrive pedel, the evh phaser pedal, a bad horsie steve vai volume pedel, compressor/sustainer, blues driver, and octave controller pedals for my guitar effects loop. I have a 10 disc stand alone/ live burner and copier with lightscribe, I also use a yamaha keyboard and midi controller. I just bought a couple of sample and loop machines I am experimenting with too. I will probably sell them though and just stick with the set up I have. I use beringer studio speakers too. I love crate for my acoustic set up but it doesnt have the crunch and rawness that the Marshall has.

Excellent stuff, Dennis! If you ever get back here, we gotta hook up. Also, if you are serious about selling the loop and sample boxes, call ME first!

yeah definately I will give you first dibs. Yeah I would love to come back out that way sometime. Get crazy on the cars and record some stuff together. That would be fun. Music and Mustangs cant get better than that. Any luck on the decals????? I cant wait for you to get them.

Windveil Blues

OLD FART
Agreed... music and Mustangs... you got my vote. No luck on the decals yet, but we have had some record-breaking flooding here the last two days, and mail can be iffy when we have bad weather. We did get mail the last two days, but no decals yet. I'll let you know after mail time tomaorrow.

Sorry, D...

yeah, it must have changed a lot. anthony just put on the 24lb injectors and maf and gained 5hp to the wheels and 10tq. i got my baseline done. not too bad for stock block and heads. 228hp and 289tq to the wheels. im gonna be back in 3 weeks and i cant think what i want to do. on one hand i am thinking a new hood to make it look better, but the other says intake manifold or cam or maf/injectors. and tires of course. just cant afford it all. we'll have to see when i get back
