Those kind of cars look rough once you get in front of it.

At that price there has to be more issues with it.

I used to think the same thing but we bought the Faleen with one and have not had one bit of problems out of it for the past two years. Just have to pick and choose.

If you plan on modding it and all that for track use and dont want the warranty anyway.......why not? Your gonna do the work on it so might as well get it cheaper.

Papa I totally agree. And same with Subzero.

Guys listen to me for a sec. Yes it might be a good deal on paper and money wise but here is the other thing to worry about with a salvaged title car. If you have a minor accident the car will crumble in a sec because the design for cripple zones was damaged the last time so the car will literally flaten themselves faster then a none wrecked car.

I speak from experience on this, the 99 Lexus GS 300 that Myz's Son was driving to get his friend and myself home was a Salvaged title car (hit in the front)

He went off the highway and hit a small ditch off the highway out of Vegas. Any normal car would have survived that with no issues at all. But the Lex's airbags did not deploy (they were there, not hooked up right) and the car pinned him in almost cutting him in half because the front end bent to a 70 degree angle and crushed his legs in the process. The cabin area would have been safe, if the roof pillars were untouched. But because they had been involved in the previous accident they left slight bends in the structure welds and the roof collasped on him.

If you were trying to buy a large truck or SUV then I would probably not have posted this, but since this is a muscle car/sport car/high performance car (your choice) you have a 50% chance or better or having a normal fender bender and not walking away from it.

You are all grown folks here but when it comes to buy a car don't risk you life over trying to save a few bucks please. I would like to hang with you all for a long time if at all possible.
