Hey, just found this on Craigslist and it looks like a good deal to me! I honestly dont know much about brakes and what will fit and stuff so anyone with knowledge please let me know. Does this look like a good all around kit? Or should I wait and save up for a better brand new kit? Could I just bolt this right onto my car?

then it might be a decent setup for you, i would send him a lower offer and see what he says. you might ask what brand rotors he has the cheap chinese cross drilled ones have been known to crack.

well the back is 93 cobra so you would order for that and the front looks to be an svo setup with 11" rotors so most likely you would order the front for an svo as they cam with 11" rotors.

that is a good deal. Even if they are the cheap chinese rotors, I don't think Jonathan is going to be doing any auto-cross or 100+ mph straight-aways any time soon to put that much demand on them. For his stock drivetrain and his cars capabilities they'll do just fine

Yeah the guy said he doesnt remember where he got them... I am going to pick these up soon and eventually I will buy a bigger front brake kit. Heard I wont see a big increase in stopping power but I think its a good deal so I will go ahead and do it. He said the only thing it needs is brake lines for the rear, shouldnt be that hard to appropiate right?

not hard at all. Summit or Jegs has them. You will notice the stopping power if you're doing rear disc.

another upgrade would be the brake booster. The SN95 boosters along with proportioning valve are common upgrades and not too difficult. If you will be doing that kit, get the 93 Cobra specific proportioning valve so you'll have correct front/rear pressure distribution.

My recommendation would be to do booster, master cylinder, proportioning valve AND the kit above at the same time to save you lots of bleeding time. If you do it all at once, bleed once and you're done.

Going to do some research and math today and see if this is the direction I want to go by tonight.

Will you be at Qualcomm tomorrow? I'll go over all that with you. I'll show you my setup.

I completely re did my system to an SN95 system, with Lincoln rear disc. No adapters needed. Plus I ran a line lock/Hurst roll control. Might as well since you'll have all your lines off and will need bleeding after.

I have the flaring tool if you need to borrow it.
