Six San Diego-area Chick-fil-AR restaurants will honor military personnel
with free food and family activities during a Military Appreciation Night
sponsored by Wells Fargo and Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) of the United
States and California on May 20 from 5 - 8 p.m. As a measure of
Chick-fil-A's gratitude, active members of the military, veterans and their
immediate families will receive a free Chick-fil-A Meal (with valid military
identification).
All six restaurants will offer servicemen and women a free Chick-fil-AR
Chicken Sandwich Meal or the new Spicy Chicken Sandwich Meal, as well as
other Chick-fil-A Meal options. In addition, the restaurants will donate 20
percent of the evening's sales to the Wounded Warrior Project, an
organization that aims to honor and empower severely wounded military
personnel by raising awareness and funds that provide unique and direct
programs and aid to meet their needs.
Each location will feature different activities throughout the evening,
including plush Chick-fil-A"Eat Mor ChikinR" Cow parachute drops, face
painting, live music, games, raffles, balloon animals, bounce houses and
