I'll be at the hobby shop on base pull the tranny out if anyone wants to swing by and give a hand I'll throw in lunch or whatever or if anyone wants to watch me totally mess something up and have a good laugh come on by. I'll be there at 9 am on sat

I couldnt have helped today, had balls to 8 this morning.

I think he was changing out the throw out bearing. Didnt see this thread until today or else I would have helped

i was going to change out the clutch but when i took it all apart i found out that it had a 26 spline instead of the 10 spline it was supposed to have plus it had a brand new Center force clutch in it so i just changed out the throw out bearing.

It runs great!!!!!!!! so far..... With me luck the tranny or drive line will fall out LOL!!!!!!
No but I put in a new MGW shifter (the orange one) (bad ass BTW) A LFP dual core heat exchanger, new throw-out bearing and found out that it has a Viper spec 26 spline input shaft on the t-56 which practically makes it a Viper tranny from what i was reading and a new looking center force clutch. Now i just have to find a way to send the clutch i just bought back because it wont work with the 26 spline input shaft. Unless someone wants to buy it. It a Fidanza 6 puck sprung stage 3 clutch. ill give it away for 200 if not ill just try to send it back. Well if anyone needs to pull their tranny out anytime soon ive got everything memorized lol.

oh yeah so i get it back together and decide to take it out so i took my wife out to dinner in Fresno and took the TERMY out too. So im drivin around and im a little afraid to really get on it (for fear of something falling out or breaking) and to my suprise. No ricers or anything tried to mess with. The only car that did was on the freeway. Eventhough he would have destroyed me (for now) this newer Viper was trying to mess with me on the free way. He tried jumpin on me at 80 so i down shifted and caught back up and held my own until about 100 then the little bastard shot off onto an exit. I cant wait until the day i can smoke one of those things. little rich kid. ill get him one day

doesn't make it a VIPER trans... just makes it stronger... you can buy just that input shaft from Promotion power train... it lets you launch harder with more power with out braking... the Viper trans has a 2.9x somthing first gear and your cobra has a 2.66 and a .62 OD the Viper has a .50 OD gear... because the cobra is a boosted engine is uses the high 2.66 First gear so it doesnt just blow the tires off...

what size is it.... a 10.5 or a 11"? I think i can use it on the Fox if its a 10.5 or 10 i can remember?

if it wasnt a stage 3 i would pick that clutch up from you, but i know those clutches are a bitch

well if no one wants it i am sending it out tomorrow or the next day back to the company. fox man if you still want it ill see what size it is and let you know before i send it out.
