I was on the way here this morning and while sitting at the light at W and 30, I noticed a yellow (Sorry Emilio) Mustang in the hammer lane about 4 or 5 cars back from me. He apparently noticed me too, because after we took off from the light, he tried in vein to get next to me. I slowed and waited for him and there was nobody in front of me, but we were now in infamous Byrnes Mill territory. He finally got next to me and motioned to pull into the left lane and turn into the gas station in Dillon Plaza, so we did, and had a great conversation as we filled up. His name is Mark, and I gave him a few cards and an event list that I had just printed last night. He has an '02 GT with a few mods, is recently a new father and has a young wife who is also into cars. I told him all about WS and the site, and he said he'd get over here as soon as they get their new computer from Dell. When we were leaving, I pulled out first and got into the granny lane and waited for him. He pulled out and tried to fly by me at WOT, so I nailed it, hit 2nd and immediately got next to him. He was revved pretty high in 2nd already, and going for 3rd. When I hit 3rd, it was obvious that I had him, but I wanted to make an impression. When I hit 4th and barked the tires, the impression was complete... LOL. This guy seems really cool, and I am sure we will hook up again for more adult car madness. GOD, I love this!

I just had lunch with another '06 GT owner. He is the brother of one of our marketing people. His is black like Phill's, and he said he is interested in joining too. Also, I am going to have to get more bizcards printed at this rate... I only have about a hundred left from the first 500 run. My kids are sucking the life right out of us right now, and we have two concert-filled weekends in a row starting tomorrow night in Milwaukee so time is limited for the next two weeks.
