FS: 2008 4X4 F150 FX4--6" lift--35" tires--air bags [SOLVED]

My truck lease is ending on Monday. I could simply return it and let a dealership benefit from my mods, or see an individual get a truck at Blue Book value with the rest of the goodies for FREE.

I leased it in late November 2007. It now has 30,347 miles, mostly highway since I drive far distances often. It has black cloth interior and dealer serviced at every interval and has never had any malfunctions or failures.

MODS:

-Pro Comp 6" lift with adjustable coil overs and adjustable rear shocks
-Pro Comp 20" wheels
-Pro Comp All Terrain 35" tires with about 70% life left
-Trailer brake contoller
-Air bags at rear suspension for load leveling, with remote compressor and pressure gauge
-Chrome running boards.
-Air horn
-Skid Plate
-Stainless steel 6 pc grill

Blue Book (not inlcuding mods):

Excellent $28,945
Good $27,745
Fair $26,095

My asking price $27,000

If interested, buyer must meet with me at the original dealership and they will collect taxes and fees, as well as help with financing just like a regular purchase. DMV is paid until Nov 2010.

Well......bummer of the day....

When I used to work for a Ford dealer and still when I leased this truck, cashing in on equity was allowed. I was just informed that Ford got strict and cut that option away since people were making money and they were taking losses with lease returns in this economy.

In short....I have no option other than buying it myself or just returning it.

where ever this truck ends up at, a wholesaler or dealer is gonna get a heck of a deal. Ford Credit will just sell it at auction according to blue book, then the buying dealer will sell the truck AND charge the customer for the lift and mods!
