well i was coming home from bowling last nite and i saw this nice mustang screeching his tires out of the old'e gym in 32nd naval base. well i go torwards the back roads to get to the 5 south freeway, well he follows also, revving his engine and what not. i was in the lane turning left, and he follows also, the light turns green and i dont peel out or anything sorta granny drive my into second and see if he will line up next to me, well he gets into the next lane and hes not next to me he's just staying about half a car behind me, im going about 35-40 and then he hits it, he gets about a one car jump and then i just reel him in, all i needed was 2nd gear to pull 2 cars ahead of him and i slowly put it in third, but he doesnt want to run anymore, so ohwell. nice cars, just a tad bit heavy, if he had gears, it would be a better race.

Oh come on cant kill other stangs. Nice Race would have been better if it was a crapmaro you where running. He you might be surprised though puling up to a old mustang with the 390, 351, or one of the other bigblock cars. Your right though they are heavy. I think that is why they went cubic inch back then cause only way they new how to get power. If you find a guy that can put todays tech into one of them old bigblock Fords wow

totallly possible, and the perk of not having to pass smog, i have a buddy that built a 66 mustang with a 347 stroker, was putting down about 430 to the wheels, sad that he sold it though.
