Galpin Auto Sports day, Prefered event???? WTF?

I hate that place with a passion. You'll never see me go near that place again.

I worked there for a while and they do nothing but crew over undeserving people. I wasn't screwed over, but it's only cuz I associated with the right political crowd.

Personal friends of mine were charged OUTRAGEOUS prices at G.A.S, and while buying new cars. My boss was OVERCHARGED inflated prices on 3 cars, totalling $55,457 !!!!!!


Screw them!

GAS does cheap TJ quality work and charged my brother $1150 for dash mounted gauges!!!!! WTF????

you're right, it's not listed as prefered. regardless, those guys are unethical, all the way up to top management. Many hard working people get screwed all the time, and that was from witnessing first hand as a manager there. Thats why I left them.

How do you think I learned how to make money in all aspects of the car sales process? They actually have you sit through a class and seminars on how to work the system and lead customers into dropping thousands more than they should.

The day I decided to leave is when the VP personally told a woman "you got an amazing deal".... when in fact, she paid a $5,000 profit on a Ford Focus sale!!! That should have been a $200-$500 profit deal. She was a hard working single mom working two jobs to make ends meet. She signed a contract paying $100 more per month more than she should have, and for 72 months.

At Galpin Auto Sports, they pad all thier jobs. Example: salesman is selling a car. Customer wants wheels and springs. If the job retails for $2500, they charge the sales department the whole $2500 AT RETAIL making a full retail profit, then sales turns around and resells it again for a 30-50% profit margin AGAIN!

They double dip all the time, and customers think theyre just paying more for the priviledge to say that G.A.S. did my work. All because of the Pimp My Ride hype.


The last car I got from them was my F150. I've stopped sending my referrals there too. I have a huge customer data base. I still get calls from old customers wanting new cars. I now refer them out to other dealers.
