Gear Day 24OCT09 Shane, Albert

Guys, the 24th will be my day for the gear install. I'm hoping that my car is complete and sitting in my garage by this date. Either way, I'll be installing gears on Saturday.

Club, I need some help. If you can make it 830am on Saturday to MCAS Miramar, I would appreciate the help. Once again, I'm raising money for the race car through installs. I cannot complete two gear installs without your assistance, as most of you know, one set tires me out.

Plus....if anyone else would like to have an install completed on that day, gears or otherwise, just let me know. This will be the last window of opportunity for some time.

I would like to get mine done but I have commisioning on saturday. Is there someone I could trust to take my car out there for the install and help?
I will have to donate a little extra since I can't be there to help!

Drop it off at my house I can do it.. I don't know how your going to post something like this...:nonono:

I'll be there to assist. I do need to have my driver's side window looked at. It stopped working. Don't know if it electrical or the gear is out.

Really wish I could come out and help guys but im just getting back tommorow and need to spend time with family. I will definately be at the next install/working party. Good luck....

Make certain to give Emilio some lift money. The install usually takes most of the day....$30 should cover it.

Guys, make certain you have all your fluids and parts. If you have any questions....ask them now. Also, someone needs to come up with a magnetic base dial indicator. Maybe someone can borrow one from a ship. I do not have one at work.

Who carries Royal Purple?

Gonna get the gasket sealer for the rear of the diff and two quarts of RP and friction modifier. Anything else I need please let me know.-Shane

Go to NAPA Auto parts on Convoy Court a block away from JBA.. They sell Royal Purple.

I wanna head out there Saturday, and i need to straighten out my left exhaust tip. it hangs about 1.5 inches lower than the right.

Todd, I would like to come out and help, and if possible get my K-member and my lower A-Arms in as well. I will help out with the gears as well. Is that ok?

hay i gotta,,, this sounds like its first and foremost a gear day!!

-- i have my micrometer if yall need it,,, instead of the magnetic base indecator, tods used it before so he knows how to handle it

--- shane, the gas station accross the street from the shop,,, so you should be good if you need it,, but they dont alwayse have the best selection, so try to pick it up before you go,,, however if you do need it its there!!

I should be able to do most of it myself too. But it doesn't have to be gears that you are installing.

I wish i could help seeing that u guys helped me but i will be in VEGAS this weekend, i got my royal purple from autozone
