Yes, an alignment is in order. I aligned mine well enough to get it to the shop and then finished the work.
I would like to thank all of you that helped with my car. There was no noises from the gears so all seems well. I can't wait to get on it and see what improvement I get. THANKS again!!!! Emilio I have a donation for you.

I'll donate as soon as I can get my car in the Shop, which might not be until next tuesday, but I am not driving it, it almost feels lile when I brake, I am only using the rear brakes. It is really wierd.
You didnt throw them away did you? You had alot of stuff taken off that car and we all know you can be......"Absent minded" at times.

I put his brakes back on and I'm pretty dayum good at them if I do say so myself. I dont understand why they would act any different than before though.
I trust that you guys did it right, I was just poking fun at Ethan. How much weight savings on that K member is there?

Can it be possible that oil, lubricant or some kind of contaminant got in bewteen the brake pads and rotors? That would defiinitely cause brake fade.

If nothing was altered or disconnected on the brakes, there should not be any difference.
On the wheel sticking out:
Tie rod ends aren't equally adjusted. Simple alignment fix

I will post up pics tonight so that you guys can see. We just moved the lines over a bit so that I can bolt on the K-Member. But other than that I dont think anything was really messed with.

Even the slightest kink/bend can cause the you to lose braking pressure by restricting the volume of fluid passing through. Follow the lines starting from the caliper all the way to the proportioning valve. If there are bends, they should be rounded, and not at a sharp angle/bend.

At no time did we hurt any line or bend or anything. I simply moved them over the edge of the K member and back into place. I would however as you mentioned start from the MC and work my way down to the brakes and check everything. Then take the brake pads apart and replace them. I have never dealt with THOSE brakes before but they looked cut and dry to me. -Shane
Well, I took it into Preston's to have my wheels aligned, and I asked if they could check my brakes too, so he goes under the hood, and tells me that a vacuum hose was unpluggedfrom the brakes, he plugged it back in, and they are working fine now.
