The gear install on Red's car (4.10) and Subzero's car (4.30) is complete. The new edge mustangs are a pain with the split drive shafts, but all ended well. Sub's car will put you deep in the seat when he hits the throttle and Red is waiting to mash his throttle at the track. They are both going through the heat up and cool down process and will be ready for test and tun soon.

Special thanks goes out to Soliz and Shane for stopping to lend a hand. Emilio made a cameo appearance during the critical part of the install and was a huge help to me.

ENJOY the new gears gentleman!!!!!

Hey all, had to go to dinner after the install, so couldn't post.

But thanks CWO, Shane, Soliz, for all your help. It was a Biatch at time putting the differential back in. Thanks for your tutorige CWO, I think I have better knowledge of how to do it for the next one.

But, yes, I am still grinning. The car took off like a bat out of hell. I have never felt a take off like that in my car before. It has no lag, jump into gear and Damn, it felt good!
Now, I just need to tune it and get my speedo calibrated. Its about 25 mph off.

Going to take it easy on her for the next few days while going through the heat cycle. But it is running around 3k RPM at 75. Took it up to 85 mph for a short run and it was at 4k. So, not too many high speed run for me. May be a good thing and keep me from a few tix. LOL!

I took a few pics, I'll post later when I have more time. But I will update more when I have it tune tomorrow and let you guys know how it feel. But I'm so glad I went with 4.30s....BadA$$...

I truly like to thank CWO for the help with the install of my gears. He took his Sunday/Mother's day to help me and Subzero with our gears. Also would like to thank Shane, Soliz, for all your help. It would have taken much longer if it wasn't for you guys helping me.

Over all it was a good day. I was a mechanic for the day. Twas cool to learn a bit about my car and how to add gears to it. If anyone else needs help. I would be glad to take some of what I learned today to help someone else in the club.
