gears install

im mike (lowlow) needing help with a gear install talked to cwo who said possibly on the 30th of may any help will be appreciated thanks alot guys

The 30th is a go!!! It's an open day on the schedule and it will be a gear install day. Anyone else looking to get a little more hop off the line, we can do two at once!!!!

Well I got my gears in the box but dont know if I want to yet.....

I do but I am worried about the tranny noise in 2nd and 3rd.....and if it isnt covered under warranty and breaks....I cant afford to lose my DD....

I dont fear the gear......I fear the fact I have already had my car in for wierd sounds on accel in 2nd and 3rd...... they "Could not replicate" and there is a TSB for the S197's for 2nd gear and 1 for the rear end......if I upgrade and either of these go bad, they wont cover it. Trannys are expensive....I am not sweating the rear gear as those are only a couple hundred dollars....but a tranny is a couple grand.

That's Gibs' DD and I understand his hesitation. Don't want to F up the warranty if he does have a **** up tranny.

Yes, there is room for the cobra, but you need all the parts, pieces and lubricants ready to go.
