i had the light covers too neevr had a problem but when i got new headlights they didnt fit anymore. i had my holes filled too i jsut paid the ticket

haha well.. what cops know or think they know are usually two diff things. in your case, he knew damn well but had a bit of stangspect for ya. lucky dog. i got a fixit ticket for my exhaust and said screw that and paid the fine ugh

LOL... you sure you don't live near Oceanside? I keep getting no front license plate tickets also. I refuse to put them on any of my vehicles. Fine is $30.

My exhaust ticket I tried to fight in court. The cop had no expert experience, no db meter.... nothing except his personal opinion, which was that he hated performance cars. I got a letter from MAC that the system was legal, went to court and the judge said that it is illegal to put "any" aftermarket exhaust on a car in california, end of story. Which is wrong of course.

Wrong or right, the cops think they know it all. Argueing with them while getting a ticket can cost you big. Fighting tickets in court is a losing deal. I get pulled over so many times now that I know the cops by name. Worse part is, they know my car. Easy money to help fill the cities budget needs.
