SPDPILOT, my position is yours. Great race, it was alot closer than I thought it would be. I am happy about the time I ran even though I lost.

Gibs has a new personal best of 9.15.
Spdpilot ran 9.04(I think).

I also set a personal best reaction time today with a .019 but not in this race.

It was a good day. I apologize to those that had money on me in the casino, but I gave it everything it had. I am sure the video and timeslip will be loaded later tonight.

Great runs Gibs....it was a lot of fun. Which is really what this is all about.

That was a tight race. I thought you were going to pull me at the end there. That was one of the best runs for the truck. I ran a 8.99 once in this truck. Today against you, it was a near best ever of 9.011 for me.

All my practice runs today leading up to the race were 9.15, so I was thankful I had that near record pass against you. I only won by .065 and I not sure what that calculates out too, but I would guess only 1-2 feet. It could have gone either way.

I also had a great time. Gibbs your 9.15 would actually be about 8.885 corrected time. The Density Altitude was about 2850 to 2900'

wow that is pretty decent.... I will say that from the time the 3rd yellow lit until the end, I had the pedal on the floor......that was just about evrything the car had. The driver did make a mistake though right before the finish, I was so worried about running out of track trying to run the Nitemare down, that I hit the limiter for a split second between 2nd and 3rd. Clean race and I think my front was even with the back of your front wheel. I had dropped my tire pressure from 37 PSI(what the dealer put it to the other day) to 27 PSI....that helped alot.

I had a weather station at the track yesterday and it is different then what is recorded in Ramona. I had 75deg 36% hum and 29.96 pres.

Using the Drag Times DA Calculator I cam up with a DA of 3153 Feet. Ramona reported 65deg yesterday, but the track was 75deg.

So it is a bit better at somewhere around 8.79-8.80, which converted to 1/4 is 13.76 in a stock GT hitting the rev limiter no less.

If you calculate in the 60ft, because he was on street tires, that would have been a low 13's run

Nice run Gibs!
