Well got the car back today. The hood still has a couple small issues that they need to repair again. Those were unseen problems that made the paint not set right. small area in the front of the scoop.

Anyway, here are some pics of it before and after......

The morning of the accident, the sprinklers went off and sprayed my driveway and not the grass......damn landscapers did it purposely.

Amazing! And as long as you're happy, that's all that matters!

The work looks GREAT in the pics and probably better in person.

Nope it is the Hertz one.......the Terlingua isnt available yet but I will have one when Available.

One thing about this work though.....they ordered a Shelby part and it came in broken. It was immediately returned to Shelby for replacement. Well after 2 weeks they are still waiting on the part to come back in. I hope there is a real reason for this as Shelby doesnt seem to be the type of company to act this way.

Also, the hood is a Shelby hood, that I was 3rd owner of. The bodyshop said it was not high quality fiberglass. They were not talking about repairs that were done to it, but the base fiberglass of the hood. Maybe that is the reason that all the other guys had sooo many issues getting these hoods just right on the Team Shelby site.

I asked Hendrix about installing my caliper covers at Balboa on Sunday as a demo showing how easy it is.....since Hendrix is setting up a booth there.

That's a good idea. Mike was thinking of doing that on mine at Balboa too, but decided to just get it done at the shop tomorrow.

Well the hood had a couple unseen cracks in the fiber, that let air under and it bubbled around the front lip of the scoop, and one area of it, sucked the paint up into the fiber, causing a small scar in the paint.....they are gonna make it right.
