every one is warning me about the maf though because it will pretty much be pegged out and getting a bigger would alow for more tuning or something. Plus i will be pushing something around 18psi so hopefully the engine lasts (for awhile)

I have a 2.76 upper and 4lb lower... And not even close to pegging out my MAF... There is around 6-7 of us with stock MAFs and some even have ported blowers using stock MAF.. How are you going to push 18? I don't even think our stock or ported eaton can do that much...:) the max with a 2.76 and 4lb your going to see if 16.2 if your lucky and no belt slip...

well i gotta wait until i get the blower ported and the MAF before i put it on oh yeah and a tune

if i were you I would lesson to SVT.. .that who told you that right?? or was it Ford racing??

I cant remember who you said told you that...

its not going to hurt to wait for a MAF and tune... I would second guess the blower port my self.. the 4 lb lower and 2.76 is going to be a hug difference any ways...

i was just going off of what someone posted up at svtperformance and what SVT told me. They said somewhere around 18psi.

You will see around 450-460 rwhp and 480-490 rwtq but, every car is different..

We have some here that are 450+ rwhp and 515rwtq. That 4lb is going to give you alot of torque...

And then you have Yosemiddysam he has 2.76 and stock lower ported blower and making 514RWHP 502RWTQ

well the set up you got from joe he saw 498 whp and 505 trq on a mustang dyno.... so you guys want to add 15% to that lol hey yoss if you see 15lbs.. the avrage boost gauge is off by 2 lbs...

yeah but that was with either a 2.9 or 3.1 upper. I have a 2.76. Not much of a diff but hopefully enough to reach 500

if he only had a 2.9 or 3.1 you will see 500+... What i think is funny is joe was running at 16lbs but i thought he was on a 2.76... his dyno graph showed him at 16lb

You won't see 500rwhp without a ported blower and not everyone gets in the 500rwhp club with a ported blower...

i thought he was on a 2.76 the whole time but i looked at the blower he had on his car and it wasnt. it was bigger than a 2.76.

The ported blowers see lower psi but have more efficiency. I dont need 18 psi to make higher numbers due to the port. Stage 5+ port is the shiz nit. If I could run 93 or race gas I would be much higher.

i was just reading an article that MM&FF did on this same thing. they ran a ported blower, 4 lb lwer and a 3.0 upper. the car layed 470ish rwhp and 502 rwtq. the blower made 16 psi of boost BUT, after 5,000 rpm boost droped to 12 psi and thats why the peak rwhp wasn't 500+. but with the 4 lb lower pulley made a lot of low rpm tq.

Chris that car of yours will be nasty out of the whole if you some how find traction.
but at high rpm your going to over spin the blower out of it;s efficency range.

a ported eaton will be bada$$ for now but if i were you i'd save for a twin screw.
