o.k so i got a citation for no proof of insurance, what do i do, can i get the ticket signed off, and also if not do have to take my insurance to court and show them that i do have insurance?

i think you will just have to go to court and show them the proof of insurance to get the citation dismissed, but you might still have to pay a driver responsibility fee.

If I remember correctly, if the box where it said correctible is checked it can be signed off and mail in. But with proof of insurance, I think you will need to provide that in person. I hope you were coming back from school or community service. Where did you get the tix?

i got one in cali last year.
all i had to do was take my insurance card showing i had insurance at the time of the citation to the court house. they were then able to make a copy of it and submit it. Everything went fine no court for me.
I had a 10 dollar fine but the ticket was also for tint and tint is a 10 dollar fine i guess

Roush was right I had 6 tickets at once when I got pulled over in lemoore. You just have to show they you had insurane at time of ticket.

Oh i should share this given this thread, i got pulled over like two weeks ago monday. Well i was on base driving on my way to work, which the boat is on pier 13. So anyways i was following this riced out cavilier, and the guy in front of me goes around the speed bumps and me being a dumb ass followed him and then we both got tickets in the parking lot, but heres the cool part i went to the traffic court that afternoon and the chief that was doing judging or what ever was a mustang guy himself. So he starts asking me questions about the offense that i did and then he looks at my regstration and starts asking me about car and i told him what had done then he starts telling me about the 91 notch that he has. And so anyways he hooked me up with a warning. His name was BMC wiegan i think. So if you guys get a ticket make sure to see him.
