hey greg and wes I am looking into the griggs suspension like on the Red GT500 of eds. now both of you have driven my car and knows how it feels in the suspension department my question is this, how much more do you think I can get out of mine without going the SLA route ? I know steeda's suspension is good however I think with the exception of the tublar K member I am already there. your inputs would be great!!!

Hey NC

Going with a SLA front suspension makes a big difference in the camber curve and how the car reacts in corners. On the rear it makes a big difference too. Going with a torque arm will keep the car flat on acceleration and breaking. The watts link will keep the axle center on corners and is far superior to a bar hard bar. As you know the bar hard bar is bias to one side as the suspension compresses. You already have a lot done to your suspension so there isn't too much more you can do without doing a coil over. Going with griggs is competition level suspension. So if thats what your looking for then thats the way to go. If you just want to just go out weekends for fun then you could just slap some coil overs on what you got, but with my experience you'll be craving more and more. What is your goal with the car?

my long range goal is to road race it but for now I will be autocrossing I am thinking the tourqe arm and watts. I messed with the MM caster camber plates and man was I impressed with the response the car was flat on the turns the front tires hooked but my rear end kept on coming out from under neath so I was having to fight the rear end. I am thinking more weight in the back and ordering slicks or NT01 tires. Again any imput is a help as I build the beast better and better
