Well, they are in, but the cat-backs, and the Mid-pipe didn't align to smoothly, so it is positioned, way below my car. I can't even go over speedbumps, so I am going to go get everything aligned probably this weekend. We had to mess with some piping for the smog to get everything to fit. And now, my steering to the right, from top, to about 40* is stiff, like my shaft is rubbing against my headers, but it sounds good. Thanks for helping me Ears.

So you did the install and you don't know if the shaft is touching the headers? I must have missed it, but what headers and h or x-pipe did you go with? Where did you do the job?

Actually, I decided not to pay somebody to readjust anything, since I will only be in school for another week or so, so I don't need to worry about speedbumps. I went with the BBK Equal Length Headers, and BBK Catted X-Pipes. And I am kicking myself for not taking any pics....

all your steering components are infront of the k member.... nothing should be even close to your headers or mid pipe....... good choice on going with the equal length headers and X pipe!

It might have been because we had to loosen the power steering rack to get the steering shaft back in, hmmm. I'll check it next time I get under my car.

i don't see how losing the rack would cause the steering rack to be stiff.... you might want to look at asap... you don't wan to loss steering.......

yea man, check that out, the steering shaft wasnt rubbing on anything when i put it in, so theres got to be something else goin astray!!! and like i said before man, your car is lowered , and that k hangs a bit low too, i cant go over speed bumps either wo being very creative about it!!! i did notice though your drivers side tail pipe is cocked just a hair so that could use an adjustment too!!! so for the speed bumps this is what you do, youre not goin to get anyone to be able to correct that problem for you, its just the nature of the beast, you car is just lowered. so when you approach a speed bump hit it at a hard angle if at all possible, and stupid slow!!! so if you do everything right one tire will be hitting the speed bump as one leaves and that will cock your car just right to lift it over the bump wo scrapping too much if at all!!! i think this is about the only option for a lowered car with low hanging pipes, i think thats just how bbk makes their pipes though, every x that ive had from them has done the same thing!!! and its only the very bottom of the cats that rub a bit so its really not the end of the world just dont hit those bumps too fast!!! youll be fiine. but do check out the steering shaft you shouldnt have resistance in any range of motion!!!
