Well today I got the cage back in after powder coating. What a pain in the ass that was. Nothing seemed to want to line up right. I got the rear seat delete and subs and amp in. Looks very good. I decided to mount the speakers down in the rear seat delete. I liked the look of the speakers but they just seemed a lil bit too much. Forgot the fuse so I didnt get to test it out but I am sure it will be fine. I also made an aluminum bracket that fits my front drink holder and mounted my digital Nitrous gauge in there. It looks pretty cool. Tomorrow I am going to install the carpet, Corbeou seats, 4 point harnesses, install my nitrous blow down tube, put the trunk back together, and hope like hell the subframes get done. They are close but just not fully installed nor welded. It will take me at minimum 3 days to get the car back to show condition after setting outside so long and getting crap everywhere. Wish me luck.
Well I got a bunch of things done today and almost got to bring the car home. The interior is done, the sterio equipment is in, hooked up, and thumpin away. All that is left now is to finish up the sub frame connectors. I would say one more good day of working on it and it will be done. I need to find a GOOD detailer. I just want to drop the car off and pick it up looking like a new car. From top to bottom, inside and out, under the hood too.
Here is the pics from after powder coating. The cage is in now and new pics will be coming. I just wanna get the car cleaned up and vacuum'd out to show it off. I did mount the speakers down instead of up and I think it looks better and sounds pretty good as well. Here is the pics I took.
OK I wanna throw out some huge thanks to Rodd from Fantelli Racing Products (1-760-787-9219) for the cage work, Alex from AMD Detailing & Pressure Washing for the awesome detailing job (1-619-398-7060), and my wife for having deep pockets lmao. Here is the final job. The sub frame pics will come later when I can get it on a lift. We are putting an X inside the sub frames and making a custom drive shaft safety loop as well. Here are the pics I have so far. Sorry for the large post and huge picture count but enjoy.
