I would like to know if any of you would be interested in creating our own calendar. Some of the guys are doing that and they have voted on who they want in there. And not many of us females have the power or the racing time under out belts to be included in their calendar.

We could do something unique, like either get some great looking male models to pose for our cars, or We have a great female photographer come in do makeovers on us and We represent our cars! Whichever everyone is comfortable with woudl be cool I think!! What do you all think?

Any other ideas???

Also we don't need to have our own calendar...votes?

Star I like the idea... and I agree on what you said in the post in the 2010 calendar thread it is a 2010 calendar the 2010's should be there and I'm not just sayin it because I have one but makes sense, but hey the guys have there things, and drew made a good point to me.. Barbie should be apart of it since teh calendar is about "Go above and beyond that of a normal member and be recognized for doing something that brings credit to the club and/or exposure." as said by Gibs she put together the breast cancer stuff in Novemeber and I know that gave exposure to the club, but I know the guys are all about the MODS in the car and time and all that stuff which doesnt make it fair to us LADIES that dont do teh racing and we just have the cars to enjoy it and to comment about what yose said "In my opinion they need to be cars that people want to look at...eyecatching..personalized...Engine mods....whatever." i agree with the personalized and eyecatching but engine mods we dont always have hoods up and whatever..but the guys have another view then us girls.

but besides it all I think having our own calendar would be cool we can get some guys and since tehre not many of us do our own photo shoot type deal with our own cars then all of us together

Yup that's what I was thinking. Some guys will never change, maybe we should try bra burning??? rofl Sometimes I feel like I'm back in the 60's with these guys. I think the calendar might be called the Men of the Month. Hahahaha Anyway, I haven't fully read all the posts to it, I just really was responding to Gibs since he is the most chauvanistic male that I have seen in a long time. With apologies to his wife.

And I was only trying to protect us females with my post. I do understand where and why the guys think like they do, but we might have to break away from this club to get "our" events done like we want. Oh and on the breast cancer walk? Fighting Sailor and Northern country came out on the first and last days. Danny and a couple of others were out on that Sat, I couldn't make it that day. But as far as the guys supporting our events? Hasn't happened as of yet.

I say before Barbie goes anywhere (if she does), never know with the Navy, We get guys chosen and photos taken. I'm sure we might be able to get some women and some guys (lol) interested in it.

Sorry, I did not read the thread about the calendar. I knew it would be a bunch of bickering. I'm trying to avoid any bickering areas. I get to wound up.

Of course we can make our own calendars with our own cars and we are the models or we can get some really buffed out guys from the gym.
It is a teenie bit late to start this project as it takes lots of planning, finding people and places, etc. We can most certainly get our ducks in a row for the 2011 calendar which we could sell and give 1/2 to the club and 1/2 to another charitable cause. I wish we could have our own Ladies race car!

By the way......Any of you race?
