no emmissions testing here so no cats on my exhaust... just 2.5 inch straight pipes with shorty mufflers... what heads would you recommend if i get the 351? and its naturally aspirated already.

what do you mean its naturally aspirated already?

what are you looking for out of the 351? whats your budget? will you be rebuilding the shortblock? you very well may run into piston to valve clearance with the stock cast piston's with heads with bigger valve's.

i am cheap so i would look into a set of used aluminum's, afr, trick flow's, there are some good deals out there, just watch what you are buying because headwork can get pricey.

irons can be an option but depending on your goals with the car, will probably be to small, you can get them ported and polished, bigger valves, but after thats all said and done you could have bought a set of aftermarket heads that still flow better imo.

its carburated... or however its spelled... probably not going to rebuild the 351... not yet anyway... gonna mod the 302 slightly when i pull it out (wanting about 500 rwhp) then put it back in and then pill the 351 back out and build it strictly for the strip... its gonna take a couple years cuz i don't make very good money but when i do it i want to do it big numberwise on the 351... i've been told also that it is not from a mid 80's truck its a mid 70's truck... the motor trans and diff were built to haul cigar boats so its set up with alot of torque... once i get my camera back i'll take some pics of what i got now and of the 351 i want to put in.
