Welcome GT400SC!

Wicked Stangs Mustang Community is a very diverse place. There is a lot to do here - the trick is just knowing where to look.

First, introduce yourself. We're a friendly bunch and we welcome newcomers to the Wicked Stangs Mustang Club.

If you have a problem figuring out how to use a forum feature, check out the New Members Section of the forums. Your question may already be answered.

We are all Ford Mustang Enthusiats. As such, we all about conversation. Unlike other "bored at work" sites, we are much more than a collection of jokes, quizzes, links and games. We have spirited conversations about politics, ethics and social issues in the Wicked Stangs Lounge.

We talk about pop culture, hobbies, raising kids, getting ahead at work, and just about anything else friends talk about around the Mustang Community.

So, if you are trapped in a cubicle at work or if you are a stay at home mom looking for something to do while the kids nap or you are just looking for some company and some fun, this is the place for you.

After you become addicted to Wicked Stangs Mustang Community, you may want to become a premium member and play with even more toys such as an online casino. Premium members pay a small annual or monthly fee, which helps keep Wicked Stangs Mustang Community lights on for everybody to enjoy.

Again Welcome to Wicked Stangs Mustang Community Hope you enjoy your stay.

Ditto and thanks for the welcome! I'm gonna snoop around the site and read up on Wicked Stangs.

I have to tell ya, I'm sure glad you were still by your car when I came out of the store cuz I would have stood there drooling on it and never known whose it was!

I guess there's a few guarenteed spots left for the show...I may have to sign up for that!

Thanks for the welcome, guys! I look forward to meeting you on Saturday as well.

As far as uploading pics, I tried and it allowed me ONE photo and then said there's only 30kb of space left. There must be a glitch somewhere or photos are very restricted. The one I manage to upload was very small so i know it didn't take up a lot of space. Yesterday the text read that you can upload 10photos but today it says five and after one pic, it crapped out.

But I have some hosted online in another location. Here's one of my Whipple.

Yes it does... go ahead someone ask him how many miles are on his 05 Mustang. LOL Whats even funnier ask him about his 400+ ford lightning that is his daily driver. I wish I had a truck like that i wouldturn my car into a full race car or show car

Being nearly 50 years old, my memory isn't so great but here's a partial list of my mods since the thread is about us and our rides.

Bought as a Plain-Jane black 05 GT Premium (auto trans cuz I have bad knees and can't push in a clutch), I immediately went berzerk with the mod money.

Cobra Rims, Dynomax Race Magnum Mufflers, Hooker X-Pipe, Whipple NON-intercooled supercharger with Ford Racing Tune (VERY conservative 7lbs boost), Shelby GT-H/CS6 hood, Saleen Side Skirts, Saleen/Parnelli Jones rear window louvers, Street Scene Center Fog Grille, Street Scene rear diffuser fascia, CDC Chin Spoiler, custom painted interior parts, dyed leather seat centers (red) and red dyed door panel inserts, 2 gauge pod with boost gauge.AFM gauge, Cobra R wing, tinted tail light covers, custom one-off lower fog lights in factory fascia (homemade fiberglass housings), 275 tires on the rear and 255s on the front, stock height and suspension, Custom badging, Xenon side scoops, homemade vinyl stripes and a billet fuel door.

Last dynoed at 352 RWHP and 389 Torque. That was before X-pipe, mufflers and lighter wheels. Future upgrades: aluminum one-piece driveshaft, gears (these 3:31s suck) and stereo upgrade (at least a sub for the back).

The car at 39 months old has 5550 miles on it and is not my daily driver.
My daily is a 2001 F150 Lightning.

I'm sure there's more but brain farts come frequently at my age. :)

Thanks for the kind words, all!

I just wish visits to the gas stations were as nice!

Premium gas is killing me! The Stang gets 14mpg in town and 19 hwy thanks to the 38lb injectors and the Lightning is 10mpg city and 15 hwy. No matter what I drive, the gas gauge swings like a pendulum. Ugh.

My wife has a Passat Turbo (No naturally aspirated vehicles at our house) and she fills up twice a month. I think we'll start going out to dinner and doing our shopping in HER car! LOL

Yeah, I hear ya, I was down to 1/4 tank in the Mustang and it was $60 to top it off! What the heck!!!

Thank You!

I shopped all the major SC manufacturers and they all have their good and bad points. But what made me choose Whipple was the fact that the intake manifold is replaced with an aluminum one (I hated the plastic factory manifold), they're here in CALI, and updates to the tunes from Ford Racing are easy. Overnight the computer to Whipple, and they overnight it right back with a new tune. Very little down time. Plus, I like the look of a traditional looking blower on TOP of the motor.

To each their own though.
