How to spot a Police car Marked or Unmarked

Always look at the tires the normal Crown Vic has the typical 7.5' tires while the Police CV's have the wider 8.5 to 9' tires.

All Police vehicles marked or unmarked have the police vehicle number on the hood, trunk and sometimes the side front fenders.

The antenna on the truck and roof is a dead give away also.

90% of the times, the unmarked Police cruiser still has the side spot lights on the doors above the mirrors. And they seem to love them on the custom unmarks too. I don't know why they stand out like a sore thumb

LOL....if have to get that close to see numbers on the car, I am screwed anyways.

My rule of thumb is the watch for any 4 door sedan coming up on me at a faster speed then I am going. Which is normally pretty fast, so anything with 4 doors coming up on me is likely not good.

When I am going down a road and see one parked doing speed enforcement, you get a good side view and the big tip off for me is the black wheels with little hub caps. I know it is a fleet vehicle and likely a police car.

Unfortunately, freeway driving aside, everything around here are motorcycle cops and they are very good at hiding.

I have't gotten a speeding ticket in 11 years (knock on wood), so something must be working for me.

OH....and take it to the track kids and be safe.

Wondering where I am!?!?
Saw a sweet blue Mustang GT over here in Hawaii. Only thing it had was a low profile light bar on the roof to tell it was a cop.

The only reason I noticed it was because he had some one pulled over already and the lights were flashing
