emilio, but there is one stop light, not 3, and he runs a 7.5, hes faster, and i lose...thats that. thats why at the track we have classes. to keep it close.

but come on now, i'd never lose to a TA....ha!

O.k. gents, heres the deal............1st off CWO, probably didn't fully understand how "True Street" is run.

It's NOT the one closest to his avg. that wins

It's the car fastest in his respective class/time zone!

Emilio put up the example already. I want to talk a little about the advantages of running like this:

"True street" style of racing has you racing another car and yourself. There are still classes and you will have a good chance to win. This style is better for beginners who have never been to the track before because they don't have to worry about lights blinking at different times etc.!

There is a reason that this event in FFW is a huge success every where it goes. It's flat out fun!

Classes should be that. Split up to half second classes. Or staggered.

i like the small classes.....keeps things tighter. and true street sounds like heads up where you get multiple tries....thats what it sounds like. thats not bad i guess. its still 2 cars lining up and launching side by side headed down the track....instead of racing the dude your racing the clock.

I think that stagger tree is BS and all it does is test reaction time for those that are consistant. Those with Auto have the advantage and those of you who have street tires can just hang it up.

Drag racing is trying to get the fastest time your car can manage, not the best reaction time.

Exactly, just because the guy you raced spanked your ass doesn't mean you are out and it doesn't mean that you cant win a trophy. Plus everyone will get the same amount of runs instead of being eliminated!

Those of you who are voting stagger tree realize that if you run and get beat your done. "True Street" allows you to run in your class 3 times! More for your money and still fun and competitive.

Stagger tree reminds me of Pinks. Ummm, I want 12 car lengths and 1 stage of nos and you can't do a burnout and you have to turn off your blower = GAY, lol!

Let me explain True Street Again.. The race car doesn't fall under True Street so Yose you have a chance:)

Now look at the last event

Yose fluke 7.4, 7.6, 8.4 Avg 7.8
Screaming Yellow 7.7, 7.8, 7.8 Avg 7.7

You see the best car won...:lol:

I get 1st Yose get 2nd place...:rofl:

We both ran the same amount of runs and did not get eliminated on the 1st round..

and the faster car didn't win. Not rubbing it in just trying to show that there is a better chance of beating a faster car when you have 3 tries at it. :)

I would trade my vote for true street. More races eguals more fun for all.

wow, i missed a lot. went to the gym to get my swole on and were changing votes. WTF over.

true street sounds more like fun and friendly competition, and you get your moneys worth, but real no **** racing is heads up.

honestly, i will race however i can and i dont really care.....lets just have some fun

I need this explained I guess it all seems the same to me. I was told the best option was staggered last night, now I am being told that true street is the best....I dont get it. I will be there......Who knows if I am running or not....
