I hate sandstorms

Well like the title says I was out on mission and got stuck in Sinjar for 14 days, after I had already been out for 2 weeks! My life was sucking. If any of you marines know about Sinjar you know how ****ty that place is, especially to get stuck, MRE's and no showers! 115 and dust so bad, visibility was about 15 ft! Ok i am done bitching.

I am a Corpsman w/3rd LAR. We have been here at Sal Sinjar since April. Yes, this place does suck, or blow, but you get used to it. As far as showers, there is a shower trailer or you can take water-bottle showers. :You must have caught our 4th of July sand storm celebration.

I did lucky me i did take a water bottle shower, but sinjar i worthles and needs to not bee there anymore i am sure you are with me on this. AL asad I where I stay when i am not out on mission, lil big for it's own good but not a bad place. Wait I think I met you in mosul when one of your marines broke his foot??

That's me. I agree, Sinjar is a worthless but we make the most of it. Good thing we are on the downslope of the deployment.

yeah, my first pump at al taquaddam we got a sand storm with like 15-20 ft visibliity, but in al quaim in decemeber of 07 we had a zero visibility, ill have to post pics. with headlights on you could see maybe 5 feet and it was 3 in the afternoon.

not a HM, I am a CTT not the dorky kind...lol. Yeah I am on the down slope I think I am coming home a month early all of my marines are. TQ sucks too **** this whole place is garbage except for kurdistan, they have a freaking amusment park and strip mall no trash on the street, Iraqis hate them because they are more civilized. I have been all over this damn place this deployment, i think there is a sandstorm video on youtube from AA. GMANTHEMAN; you ever figuer out what your next mod was going to be?

ive been to AQ, TQ, and Al ASAD. and for the record, Al Asad is now its own city. i hear they are gettin a wal-mart too...lol.
