who gives a rats ass, do need to be doing +100 mph all day long?

well there are times when i would be needing to go over 100 lets say in a roll race on the highway, or on a circuit track that iv always wanted to go to but haven't yet my gear's really need to be from a 35mph roll to like 120-145

well givin the power in the v6 is much less then the v-8 brothers, it is like putting a bigger sprocket on a bike. it will be much more responsive.

i took the back route out of chula vista through Jamul up to santee over to la jolla and back down the 5 back to chula vista the other day and it was sure fun hitting those corners in the back roads at 60 and pulling up to 120 before the next turn :) not to mention the 740 BMW who thought he had a fast car...

please do the motor last. suspension, gears, brakes, tires, then do the motor. do it right man, other wise your going to throw a bunch of mods on a v6 with nothing to get it to the ground. you are already at a power disadvantage so you need to get your parasitic loss to a minimum. otherwise your painting a house that isnt built yet.

135 mph in the 1/4 is still pretty fast buddy u dont need to be doing 35mph roll ons to even 100 for one ur in a v6 two that **** is unsafe especially on a mostly stock car your suspension will be bouncing all over the place

For one..the mac last I checked was a metal CAI which is not the best. Being metal it will take in more heat from the motor than a carbon fiber, K&N or PVC such as JLT. JLT imo is the best to be had and by far the best as far as looks. K&N are great kits and I would only choose from the two.

No clue on V6 gearing or what is too much or too little. But if it is the same as a GT then 4.10s are the most I would go as it is your daily driver. Gears are by far the biggest "bang for the buck".

Now...dont go putting way too much money into this car. It is a "now" car and eventually you will move on to a more worthy car. Do your minor bolt-ons and looks and enjoy it. Later pick up a Cobra or Mach1 for a decent price and play a little harder. Good things usually come with age as we progress in life. -Shane
